Been listening to this album a LOT lately. A friend introduced me to it back in 2006 (when I was in Tokyo [*deep, deep sigh*]), but at the time it didn’t quite hit me. Here in 2009, I’m going into a bit of a Sean Lennon phase, between this and Into the Sun. 

Grand Royal was such a weird label (b.t.dubs).
The thought of the Beastie Boys signing bis, of all bands, to their label, is mind-boggling. (Do I have New Transistor Heroes on both vinyl and CD? Shame and pride both swell in me as I let out a firm yes).
